Avro Shackleton

This 1:72 Avro Shackleton took many months to complete. After priming and then spraying the base coat in light grey, I then masked the model and sprayed the white. I then masked the white and sprayed the dark grey. Next all the decals were applied and then a matt coat to make it easier for the weathering to begin. I then wet the model with water and applied salt as a masking agent and sprayed a diluted layer of white, to make the paint looked degraded and damaged. The salt was then removed and reapplied multiple times so that I could spray multiple more layers of diluted grey, black and then white again. I then used oil paints to add dirt to the model and this process was repeated multiple times. I ended off with a matt coat.
